Customer service is beyond unacceptable. I sent an email the moment we received the item, today is a week after sending it, and still, no response. The product should’ve been packaged better given that it needed to travel from east coast to west coast.
I LOVE, LOVE MY lumify light!! I’m a night shift nurse & it’s the best thing ever! It helps me when I make rounds in my rooms. it helps when I’m checking my blood sugars, I don’t have to turn the room light or the over head light. I especially love that it’s rechargeable! I have purchased it a few times and gave them as gifts for some of ky co-workers!
I am a student nurse with clinical rotations on MedSurge & Tele units and I work as a Mental Health Tech at a psychiatric hospital. During NOC & AM shifts, I have to check on patients and hate to disturb them unless it’s necessary.
This light is extremely useful in that I can work hands free while I assess & document/chart. I love the ability to set a specific brightness level for each light and activate/deactivate the light without having to cycle through all of the colors and disinfect with Cavi Wipes.
The cherry on top is the fact that it’s rechargeable! I really dislike the idea of having to spend a small fortune on batteries. My one critique is that the battery doesn’t quite last 8 hours with intermittent use, let alone 12 hours. But…it’s rechargeable. Amazing product that I recommend to everyone!
I have tested many law-enforcement related products for working at night and your product is by far the best I've used. It's easy to use and attaches easily to my outer vest. If I were you guys I would make a law-enforcement version (colors).
it’s light weight, easy to use. Perfect for when your patient is sleeping and you don’t want to wake them up. I can see easily and get what I need done. Much easier than having that flashing hanging on my badge swinging. Love it!
This has come in handy for so many shifts. Being able to do my job without waking my patients at night is awesome. Great idea and so glad I purchased this!
I work ICU as RN and EMS. Wish I would have had this year's ago. Love it. So far it's very handy. I got the case also to make sure I have a specific spot to find it.
Loooove the rechargeable option with the new one! I had 2 of the other lights, and loved them. Gifted those to 2 other night nurses so that they don't wake the pts brain at night lol we all love these!
Magnet in the back came rusted. For the amount of money the light cost, this should not be an issue. Poor customer service. Reached out to customer service and did not get a response back.
I received my order which was replacing the original lumify light I got years ago that was "borrowed" at work. I charged it fully, the battery showed it was full. Then I drove to work and it wouldn't turn on at all, no battery indicator, no light. I plugged in the charger at work and left it plugged in well past when the indicator showed it was full. Within 20-30 minutes the battery light was off and the light wouldn't turn on at all. That itself I understand, there are defective products. What I CANNOT accept is that it has been over a week and customer service will not return my emails. All I want is a replacement. I can return this defective one. Please contact me, I will gladly change my review if you can resolve my issue. But for nearly $40 this is unacceptable.
I live this light! I'm an aide during the night shift and having a good light helps both me and my sleeping patients! This is a fantastic light and works fantastic!!!!!!
I am a nurse but I bought these for me and a friend that are seniors and need extra light when I work in my closet or my basement. It's just a great tool to have. I will probably give some for Christmas.
I work nights; this little light makes my night so much smoother. The red light is great for checking something quickly— flow, O2, etc— without waking the pt. It’s bright enough to keep my from getting tangled up with pumps/ cords/ leads/ cables/ etc.
Love!
Reached out to customer service twice via email, and informed them that I received one as a gift and wanted to return the one I purchased. Unfortunately there’s no way to start a return via their website and customer service has terrible communication and rarely responds to emails. I’m still waiting for my second email to be acknowledged to start a return for a refund. I don’t recommend at all. I haven’t even opened the one I purchased and after this experience I’m not going to even use their brand. Do better.
The Lumify light is awesome. I like being able to set the brightness of my red light so it doesnt wake up my patients when I go in and check on them in the middle of the night. I am able to see perfectly without blinding anyone, and the blue light is great for signaling other nurses quietly when I need a hand with something but do not need to get the entire MET team called.
I absolutely LOVE this light!! I have purchased others but they were not rechargeable and only had white light. I love the red night option as I work graveyard shift so I use that and don't wake up my patients. Thank you for designing a perfect light!
I am a new grad pediatric nurse and have been loving this light! It is professional, sleek, and so easy to use during night shifts. 10/10, so worth the investment!
I work as a traveling Nurse/ EMT in Corrections and work at many different county jails of varying sizes from as few as 60 inmates to a few thousand, so not all jails are created equal. What also varies is lighting conditions and what I like about this product is it is hands free vs. a flashlight. In low light situations, I have a light source with the touch of a button which leaves both of my hands free to render medical care in not so good lighting conditions or situations. This product is now part of my gear and goes with me to every emergency call within each jail/ correctional facility I am at. I can honestly say this product is now an essential part of the medical care that each patient receives. Great product!!! I 100% recommend this product for all medical professionals in corrections, EMS, and night shift medical professionals.

I have used it on every night shift the past 2 weeks. It is durable and effective when checking on patients at night without disturbing my patients' sleep.
I bought 2 of these for nurse friends. They love them and their coworkers are envious. They are able to offer better care and be morr unobtrusive as they both work the night shift.
I get so many comments and compliments on this little gadget. Most of my colleagues really like the concept but feel it is an added weight to an already heavy shirt( badge reels etc.) I agree but its helpful in that its less invasive to patients sleep.
Much stronger magnet than the first version (I lost two because of weak magnet) I like being able to pick the light color rather than having to cycle through them.
