I'm a licensed occupational therapist and have practiced (primarily in the hospital setting) for 8 years. I am currently a full time PhD student studying health science/occupational therapy. The focus on my PhD will be the lived experience of being a therapist during the height of COVID 19, as well as some of the effects of Long Covid and if there are bio markers aligning with the symptoms described by patients. I live in Wisconsin with my husband, toddler son and Min Pin mix. OT is my second career; previously I was a television news producer (I also have a degree in English with a focus on Film Studies).
